Charles Penny
Chief Executive OfficerWith over 20 years of industry-leading experience, Charles is known for his seamless delivery of large-scale data centres across Australia, exceptional technical expertise and commercial acumen. As Founder and former Managing Director of AREA3 (acquired by BGIS), he has led over 1 GW of data centre project delivery, from strategic site selection and innovative design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
Recognised for his vision in the data centre sector, Charles is steering GreenSquare’s sustainable, AI-ready infrastructure, balancing reliability, scalability, and environmental responsibility.
Graeme Barclay
Executive ChairGraeme Barclay is Executive Chair of GreenSquare, bringing 30-plus years' experience of digital infrastructure, telecommunications and investment banking. As CEO or Chair, he has led and scaled high-value infrastructure platforms globally, including BAI Infrastructure/Transit Wireless, Axicom/Indara, Uniti Group and Nextgen Networks/Metronode, where he oversaw the growth of the Australian DC business and eventual divestment to a global DC owner.
At GreenSquare, Graeme provides strategic and commercial oversight, guiding the delivery of AI-ready infrastructure. His leadership is focused on disciplined execution, strong partnerships, responsible use of resources and long-term, sustainable growth.
James Selkirk
Chief Financial OfficerJames is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in infrastructure and property development. An inspiring and hands-on leader, he possesses a significant track record in organisations undergoing significant growth and change.
As CFO of CDC Data Centres, he oversaw its rise from a $350m Canberra company to a respected international firm valued at over $6bn in six years. During his time there, over 800MW of capacity was added across large campuses and a lasting partnership with Microsoft was created. His strategic mindset excels at simplifying complexity and creating action plans for GreenSquare.
Josh Martens
Chief Technology OfficerA highly respected data centre expert, Josh possesses deep expertise in multidisciplinary engineering, thermal systems, and scalable infrastructure. Before joining GreenSquare, he held senior leadership roles at AirTrunk, including Vice President of Design & Product and Technical Director of Mechanical & Design.
Over the past decade, he has developed some of the most advanced data centres in APAC. With operational precision, engineering depth, and unwavering commitment to quality, Josh plays an instrumental role as GreenSquare DC scales its AI-enabled platform.
Eoin O'Mahoney
Chief Development OfficerEoin brings over 20 years of experience leading global data centre delivery, overseeing complex infrastructure programs at scale. At the helm of major hyperscale and colocation projects from site selection through commissioning across Europe and APAC, he most recently led Data Centre Construction ANZ at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
A trusted delivery leader, he combines engineering acumen with hands-on construction expertise to drive speed, quality, and sustainability outcomes across GreenSquare’s campuses.
Kevin Nuner
VP Power & InfrastructureKevin is a significant leader in power infrastructure delivery. With over 25 years of experience delivering critical energy solutions for data centres across APAC, his expertise spans the entire power lifecycle, from sourcing through commissioning to operations. He previously led the Major Projects & Customers division at Endeavour Energy before joining AWS, where he oversaw energy delivery for hyperscale deployments.
With over 1GW of data centre power delivered, Kevin’s leadership ensures GreenSquare has the capacity and scalability required for next-generation AI workloads.
Mike Robson
VP OperationsMike has developed deep expertise in both hyperscale and colocation environments over his decades in the data centre sector. His experience includes senior leadership positions at AWS and Vantage Data Centres, building on foundational operational roles at NEXTDC and Equinix.
Having led large-scale operations across Australia, Europe, and Asia, Mike is recognised for his deep expertise in operational scalability, reliability, and risk management for mission-critical infrastructure. He brings to GreenSquare a responsible readiness for next-generation hyperscale and AI-ready data centre campuses.
Scott McIlwhan
VP Health, Safety & QualityScott brings over 20 years of expertise in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management across diverse industries, including data centres, construction, heavy equipment, facilities management, and logistics.
Previously serving as Quality Director at AirTrunk, he successfully led the Development Quality program across APAC. Scott is also known for building high-performing teams and fostering proactive safety cultures. His extensive capabilities of driving operational excellence and performance are set to ensure GreenSquare responsibly achieves its strategic objectives.
Daniel Monaghan
VP Strategic Partnerships & ProcurementDaniel is a seasoned procurement executive with over 20 years of experience delivering critical infrastructure projects globally. His experience includes prior leadership roles at Gamuda Australia, AirTrunk, and John Holland.
As VP of Strategic Partnerships & Procurement at GreenSquare, he brings deep expertise in managing complex supply chains across the APAC region, driving efficiency and reliability, managing strategic costs, and integrating ESG.
Ash Lehmann
VP Information & DigitalAsh is an experienced technology executive with 26+ years of leadership across enterprise transformation, cybersecurity governance, digital innovation, and mission-critical infrastructure delivery. He has led large-scale technology and operational programs across the Asia-Pacific region, with experience spanning the Australian Government, hyperscale data centre and enterprise technology sectors.
Prior to joining GreenSquare, Ash held senior leadership roles at AirTrunk, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, CGI Technologies and Logica.
Ash brings a strong combination of strategic technology leadership, operational discipline, and delivery expertise in complex, highly regulated environments.

Strategic Advisor - Sustainability & CommunityWith more than 20 years shaping nationally significant infrastructure, Kylie is recognised for her leadership at the intersection of government, sustainability and community outcomes. She has held senior roles across Commonwealth and State agencies, regional development bodies and major infrastructure organisations, consistently ensuring projects balance economic growth, environmental responsibility and genuine community benefit.
Known for her strategic clarity, stakeholder influence and ability to navigate complex government environments, Kylie brings a community‑first lens to GreenSquare’s infrastructure program.

Founder & DirectorWalt has a 20+ year experience with property developments and has a passion for sustainability and creating pathways to achieving true net zero. As Founder of Coulston Group and CK Property Group, Walt has developed commercial & mixed-use property in each State & Territory in Australia with aggregate value exceeding $2.5 billion.
As the Founder and inaugural CEO of GreenSquare, Walt is committed to developing more sustainable and resilient digital infrastructure. Walt continues his involvement with GreenSquare as a director and investor.
